The Houthis in Yemen have attacked the presidential palace in the port city of Aden - the seat of the internationally-recognised government. Meanwhile, President Masoud Pezeshkian has told Iranians that the country is facing its most intense blockade since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, and has accused the US of seeking to provoke public protests. The Saudi-led military coalition fighting Yemen's Houthis says it has intercepted a missile in the Medina region. The Houthis have threatened more attacks on Saudi Arabia but have denied carrying out this one. Finally, according to reports, the US is considering using its biggest non-nuclear bomb against Iran if President Donald Trump should decide to renew combat in the war that has hit a deadlock.
