Jeffrey Donaldson dominated unionism in Northern Ireland for decades. Now the former DUP leader is a convicted child sex offender, beginning a 15-year prison term. He was one of the country's most powerful politicians, a knight of the realm, respected and whose influence was feared in the corridors of Westminster, Stormont and beyond. One of his victims told the court: "those responsible do not control me now. They forever changed me, but they will not take my future". Warning: this report contains distressing details.
