Mortal Kombat Trilogy HD Remake just received another major development update, this time revealing the first gameplay look at Cyrax along with major improvements to the classic ninja character models! The free fan project from developers Interloko and Nostalgick continues to move incredibly fast, with multiple fighters already playable including: UMK3 Ninjas, Nightwolf, Baraka, Raiden, Sonya Blade, Stryker, Johnny Cage, Sheeva, Cyrax and Sektor. Even bigger news, the developers have now confirmed that an early public build of Mortal Kombat Trilogy HD Remake could release as soon as Summer 2026, meaning players may finally get a chance to try the project themselves on PC sooner than expected as development continues with improved animations, HD effects, modernized stages, and updated character sprites.
