I found two tea light candle holders on Etsy. One has a massive number of sales. The other? Almost none. So I built both. In this video, I test whether Etsy sales numbers actually reflect a better woodworking project — or just better marketing. For the high-selling tea candle holder, I made design improvements: more curves, smoother lines, and what I believe is a stronger overall aesthetic. For the low-selling version, I did a completely faithful recreation — no upgrades, no changes — just to see if the design itself is the reason it isn’t selling. Then we finish the build with a new segment on the channel: The Timber Wizard Score (TW).
