If I had to compare Bugonia to anything Yorgos has done prior, it would have to be Dogtooth. The mind perceives reality based on what it considers to be reliable. That, in of itself, creates a flawed rabbit hole of human consciousness that is displayed in films like both Dogtooth and Bugonia. Love me some Yogurt.
