In this video I’m sharing the story of the simple “IKEA-style” shed that kickstarted my business… and how the whole thing slowly fell apart. This was early in the pandemic when lumber prices were still reasonable and people were spending money on home projects instead of travel. My plan was to build small, high quality sheds, load them into my van, and assemble them fast at the customer’s place. Simple product. Simple delivery. Simple growth. Then reality hit. I’ll show you the shed build, but I’ll also be honest about what went wrong. How I lost focus by trying to build bigger and better projects at the same time.
