Reform’s “shadow” home secretary has pledged that his party will create a British version of ICE and slap visa bans on six countries if they get into government. In his first speech since being appointed to the role, Zia Yusuf gave more details about the party's plan to deport 600,000 illegal migrants during its first term in office. At the event in Dover he also proposed banning all face coverings in public, including the burka – a change in position since Yusuf quit the party over a row with MP Sarah Pochin about the same issue.
