Hey Boys fans, here’s an interesting fact. The Soldier Boy that Jensen Ackles is playing, and stealing our hearts as, is basically a loose remix of multiple Soldier Boy ideas from the comics! Yes, you heard that right. Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s The Boys comic treats Soldier Boy as a legacy character, and over the seventy-two-issue run, there have been three different people to hold that mantle. In fact, the first Soldier Boy doesn’t even appear in the present comic timeline; his story is told through flashbacks, while the second one is even more obscure and is mostly known through dialogue and the larger Vought-American legacy.
