Afghanistan does not allow its territory to be used against other countries, the defence ministry said during a news conference on Tuesday, as hostilities continue between Afghanistan and neighbouring Pakistan. At the same news conference, a deputy spokesperson of the Taliban government said Pakistan had “repeatedly violated Afghanistan’s airspace” and carried out strikes against civilians in several provinces that included the capital. At least 42 civilians have been killed and 104 wounded in Afghanistan in the war that broke out with Pakistan between last Thursday and Monday, the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) said.
