After a series of grand shows like Game of Thrones and Stranger Things and their lukewarm endings, I finally got a season finale that I could commend. The Boys ended on a bittersweet note with two of its biggest characters gone for good, the rivalry is finally dead with them. But that does not mean that the story is over. Just as Stan Edgar had once predicted to M.M, despite Homelander’s skull cracked open, Vought remains. In fact, Stan is now the interim CEO, and heading the nation is Bob Singer, who once again wants to contain the Supes, who wants to ensure that they do not run amok and a second Homelander does not come into existence.
