B.C. Premier David Eby promised the large Canadian flag in the background at his news conference wasn’t a jab at a rival premier Thursday. “Oh yeah, the flag isn’t about [Alberta] Premier [Danielle] Smith — maybe I could bring it to western premiers and gift it to her,” Eby said with a chuckle.
