Blending the world of Pokémon and palaeontology, Chicago’s Field Museum is marking the North American debut of the Pokémon Fossil Museum with its extensive and interactive exhibit, featuring models of some of the Japanese pocket monsters and their supposed fossils — as well as the animals some were based off. Fans of all ages flocked to the institute for a chance to see the phenomenon, which was formerly exclusive to Japan. “I’m 1,000 per cent excited,” a young fan said at the grand opening. #Pokemon #Fossils #Palaeontology
