US Secretary of State Marco Rubio criticised European nations that denied the US the use of their bases for its Iran operations. During a NATO leaders’ summit in Sweden, he outlined America's expectations of allies, stressing that closer cooperation is needed. Mr Rubio claims a tolling system in the Strait of Hormuz by Iran should set a precedent for other nations to impose similar tolls.
