Shadow Health Minister Anne Ruston says the Albanese government has “completely lost control” of aged care, with some care packages taking nearly a year to implement. “The story you were just telling me about your mum is a story I’ve heard so many times,” Ms Ruston told Sky News host Steve Price. “This government has completely lost control of aged care. They came into promising the world in 2022, saying they were going to put the care back into aged care, all they’ve done is put the wait back into wait lists.”
