Man dies after shark attack in Far North Queensland

A 39-year-old man has died after a shark attack off the coast of Far North Queensland. The incident occurred at Kennedy Shoal, about 160km south of Cairns, just after midday on Sunday. The man was reportedly bitten by a shark in the surf and was pulled from the water on a vessel and taken to shore, where he died from his injuries.
