The Australian’s Environment Editor, Graham, discusses polling showing Australian support for nuclear energy and fossil fuel projects. “People are rightly shocked at the cost of the transition [net-zero] … it’s a lot more expensive than they were told it was going to be,” Mr Graham told Sky News host Jaimee Rogers. “The war in Iran has reminded people about the essential role that fossil fuels still play in our energy sector."
