In this second part of The West Block’s interview with US President Donald Trump’s former secretary of state, Mike Pompeo was asked whether Canada should be involved in the US-Iran conflict. “Yes, they (Canada) ought to be playing a much more significant role than they are because this isn't a conflict between the United States and Iran. This is part of a battle that has now been joined for the protection of Western civilization,” Pompeo said. When it comes to the US’s disentanglement from Iran, Pompeo said “when monsters roam the earth, one doesn't disentangle, one crushes them. I know of no other solution. You have to win. You have to defeat them. And that's not language that sometimes we use in the West. We try to be more cautious in the language, but in the end, you gotta beat them because they're intent on crushing us.” For more info, please go to https://globalnews.ca Subscribe to Global News Channel HERE: http://bit.ly/20fcXDc Follow Global News on X HERE: http://bit.ly/1T
