Teals in talks to form new ‘centrist party’

Sky News host Chris Kenny says the Teals are in talks to form a new political party to fill a hole in the centre of Australian politics. “So this development, in my view, is about the so-called Teals finally being honest about what they're about,” Mr Kenny said. “It's about a de facto party actually getting married and becoming an official party. “Some commentators have referred to this as a new "centrist" party. But any Teal party won't be centrist, it will be green left, just like all Teals are green left.”
