Coyote bites child in the head during attack near Toronto, retreats into woods

A young child was bitten in the head by a coyote, which is still in the wild somewhere near Toronto, police say. It happened Sunday evening at Bruce Boyd Parkette in Markham, Ont. Police said the child, between five and six years old, was taken to hospital with minor injuries after being bitten in the head. This follows another coyote attack last Thursday on a 16-year-old girl. Global’s Victoria Femia reports on the most recent attack and the response from authorities.
