Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell predicts the Greens may abandon Labor on negative gearing reforms over fears the policy will hurt younger voters. “It seems to me that the Greens are more likely to pass the capital gains taxes through the Senate and not the negative gearing,” Mr Clennell told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “They’ve got an objection to the negative gearing because their vote is a lot of the young people, and of course, it hits young people because they won’t be able to negatively gear.”
