Democratic lobbyist Niki Carelli weighs in on the ongoing conflict in Iran after the US launched self-defensive strikes in southern Iran. “We’re hearing from Secretary Rubio and from the President that things were very close,” Ms Carelli told Sky News Australia. “There was a matter of just negotiating over a couple of sentences, and then of course, we had the strikes … CENTCOM struck two IGRC boats that we are laying mines as well as a missile base. “Iran’s nuclear plans seem to be a major holdup in terms of finalising the agreement.”
