Royal commentator Victoria Arbiter weighs in on reports King Charles is snubbing Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor despite staying in close proximity to the former prince. “The King is in quite a tricky position, you have to remember that he’s not just head of state, he’s also head of family, but in that role, he’s required to put duty above all else,” Ms Arbiter told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. “If he was to turn up to see Andrew, that would be widely interpreted … it would be interpreted as support for his brother. “The King has to be mindful not to compromise any kind of investigation if this does indeed end up with charges, and Andrew should go to court. “He’s wanting to make sure that he doesn’t prejudice the investigation in any way or compromise it.”
