Sky News host Sharri Markson accuses the Albanese government of “ramming” through legislation for their “highly contentious” tax changes, despite the government trying to assure businesses that they're still negotiating. “This is an absolute farce … over the past two elections, Labor won over centrist voters, aspirational Australians. These are the voters being punished by the tax changes,” Ms Markson said. “If they think they can get away without a backdown, they'll forge ahead, regardless of the impact it has on hardworking Australians who have sacrificed and toiled to start a business and get ahead.”
