South & Hill Strategies Co-Founder Colin Reed claims US President Donald Trump’s endorsements are still carrying a lot of weight in the Republican Party. “The President is a juggernaut in those primary elections, and those numbers speak for themselves … it’s a streak that anyone would be proud to have,” Mr Reed told Sky News host James Morrow. “In the general election, that’s going to also be impacted by who the Democrats are nominating because they’re going through the same process that we just talked about on the Republican side, but they’re doing it without any sort of central leader. “They are putting their full weight behind, and in many cases nominating really extreme left-wing candidates in some of these states that frankly don’t have an appetite for the left-wing politics they’re selling.”
