Romania is expelling Russia's consul general in Constanta and closing the country's consulate there after a Russian drone struck an apartment building in Galati, injuring two people. President Nicusor Dan said Russia bears "entire responsibility" for the incident, which occurred during an overnight attack on neighbouring Ukraine. Residents described scenes of fear after the explosion, with one woman saying, "We could have died." Defence officials said there was "no real opportunity" to safely shoot down the drone before impact.
