When James Gunn’s Superman gave us the first cameo of Super girl and Krypto, at that very moment I just knew I would come back to the theatres to watch Clark Kent’s unhinged cousin in action. In fact, no DC or Marvel enthusiast would miss out on a Super Girl movie that has been released for the first time in over 4 decades. Moreover, she is being brought to life by our former Queen of the Blacks from the House of the Dragon, Milly Alcock. And with this being the second movie in Peter Safran and James Gunn’s DCU, it was truly essential to meet Kara Zor- El, who loves to party and is pretty much the polar opposite of her nerdy cousin, Clark Kent! Gunn has always aimed to take DCU closest to its source and so this film too is heavily inspired by Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which is a comic book miniseries written by Tom King and Bilquis Evely.
