The Samuel Griffith Society Executive Director Mia Schlicht says the World Cup is giving Australians a rare opportunity to come together. “It is a great time to be an Australian in a pub at the moment,” Ms Schlicht told Sky News host Steve Price. “It’s a great time not only for our young soccer players, but also I think just young people around the country to really come together and actually celebrate something for once.”
