Sky News host James Morrow discusses the growing influence of Democratic Socialists following recent primary victories in New York. “Well, a few days ago, three democrats, but they're not really democrats, they're from something called the Democratic Socialists of America, won primaries that all but guarantee them seats in the US Congress and the New York State Senate,” Mr Morrow said. “They are too far to the left of even the usual progressive democrats we poke fun at on this program. “In New York, Zohran Mamdani, the mayor who was the kingmaker behind these elections, has just frozen the rent on one million apartments … You see the scam that is being pulled here, classic communist looting, where the old owners are shuffled off for various politically connected collectives.”
