The death toll from Venezuela's twin earthquakes has risen to more than 1,400 as the critical 72-hour rescue window comes to an end. More than 1,600 international rescue workers are on the ground, while medical teams continue treating survivors at temporary emergency stations. "We don't care where we sleep and we just want to save as many people as we can," one volunteer nurse said. Canada is among several countries providing aid, pledging $5 million to support relief and recovery efforts.
