At least six people are dead and several others injured in the wake of a shooting in Germany on Monday. Gunfire was reported to police around 12:10 p.m. (CEST) at a youth welfare facility in the northern town of Stade, just outside Hamburg. Police spokesperson Matthias Bekermann said two people were in custody, one of whom was the suspected shooter. The role of the other person is unclear and the possible motive behind the incident is not known at this time.
