Zordon, the ancient interdimensional mentor trapped inside a time warp, realizes that Earth needs a new team of protectors. So what does he do? Does he contact the military? Does he recruit experienced soldiers? Does he look for adult martial artists, scientists, police officers, or trained emergency personnel? No. He tells Alpha 5 to recruit five teenagers with attitude. When you are eight years old, that decision does not seem strange.
