Sky News host Chris Kenny highlights how Labor's proposed tax changes affecting widows and divorcees expose yet another broken promise from Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Treasurer Jim Chalmers. “Under his new laws, a widow or widower taking sole ownership of a deceased partner's property will be hit with extra tax,” Mr Kenny said. “The same will happen with divorces, but it's not a problem according to Chalmers. “No, it wasn't her view; it is Labor's track record; it is fact. Let me be very clear about that. Neither Chalmers nor Albanese can be trusted. They have done what they promised not to do.”
