Sky News contributor Kristin Tate discusses the rise of democratic socialism sweeping the United States. “[Zohran Mamdani] is tapping into something, you know, you see it on the right as well; these are the reasons that the MAGA populism has gotten so popular on the right wing,” Ms Tate told Sky News host Chris Kenny. “These sorts of swishy people in the middle of both parties, they’re not really offering solutions to the problems of everyday Americans. “Unfortunately, a lot of naive young people have been indoctrinated for 18 years in the American school system … the Democrat Party needs to take a hard look at itself.”
