Canada's Industry Minister Melanie Joly was in Quebec Tuesday where she said Canada has been preparing for every possible outcome of the negotiations after a news report suggested that the United States plans to pull out of CUSMA. "We've been ready for every single scenario. We've been working at this," Joly said. She said that the government has a mandate from the people to "build Canada, to build Canada strong," and they were working on it notwithstanding what's going in the U.S. Joly said Canada was diversifying its trade partners to "reduce our dependency on the U.S. Market."
