Sky News host Jaimee Rogers says Energy Minister Chris Bowen’s COP 31 summit role is an expensive exercise in symbolism. “Budget estimates show taxpayers will pay almost $150 million for Mr Bowen's COP role and related activities,” Ms Rogers said. “Chris Bowen thinks this is money well spent. “Chris Bowen says this year's COP won't deliver massive breakthroughs, so stop asking Australians to pay breakthrough prices. “Australians are entitled to call it what it is: an expensive exercise in symbolism.”
