​Former NSW Labor treasurer Michael Costa says Labor’s “key focus” should be on the rental market as he sees it as its “real challenge”. ​“These fools predicted a $1 to $2 increase in rents,” Mr Costa told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. ​“Based on all of that data that we have seen… we are going to see rents go through the roof as a result of this. ​“The very people that they claim they’re trying to help are going to be worse off.”
