Much like the first episode, the second episode of House of the Dragon Season 3 is riddled with innumerable differences from the Fire and Blood novel by Mr Martin. The second episode, titled Queen’s Landing, is all about the aftermath of Crown Prince Jacaerys Velaryon’s death and while the larger picture in Queen’s Landing and the book’s events are aligned, the picture itself has been painted with very different colours in the show and the book. While some of these changes are well done, like Helaena’s arc, some others like Lord Jasper Wylde trying to assault the Dowager Queen are just unnecessary.
