Rising antisemitism leaves many British Jews uncertain about staying in the UK

Journalist and author Melanie Phillips weighs in on the growing wave of antisemitism that has left many British Jews questioning if they can safely remain in the UK. “There’s a tremendous amount of concern about rising Islamism, a tremendous amount of concern about the cost of living and about the fact that for many years, the British government has been extremely dysfunctional,” Ms Phillips said. “There is a certain amount of talk, certainly among British Jews, as in America and elsewhere, because of the terrible rise of violent antisemitism. “There are certainly British Jews who are thinking is there a future for Jews in this country?”
