President Donald Trump has said he will pause any strikes on Iran during the next week amid funeral services for the former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who was targeted and killed by the US and Israel at the start of Operation Epic Fury and Operation Roaring Lion. Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei was noticeably absent from the services, while several of his brothers attended. President Trump will travel Tuesday to Ankara, Turkey for the NATO summit where he will meet with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, just weeks after Rutte's visit to the White House. A fire broke out on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York during the city’s July Fourth fireworks show, spreading flames and setting off a plume of smoke before firefighters extinguished the blaze.
