Massive crowds gathered in Tehran Monday as the days-long funeral continues for slain leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family. The 86-year-old, his family members, and other officials were killed in the Feb. 28 airstrikes on Iran's capital. The caskets made their way through the streets of Tehran, carried by a large truck, which was surrounded by hundreds of thousands of marchers. “Revenge! Revenge!” locals cried out, demanding vengeance on opposing world leaders, including U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. Many demonstrators held signs with warnings to the leaders, and some people were even seen setting fire to American and British flags. The ceremonies will continue this week, with the burial for Khamenei and his family to take place on July 9.
