U.S. President Donald Trump met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Tuesday as leaders gather for the 2026 NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey. During the meeting, reporters asked Trump how confident he was about Greenland negotiations, and its clear the president hasn’t given up on annexing the country. Trump reiterated his belief that Greenland “should be controlled by the United States, not by Denmark.” He suggested that unlike Denmark, the U.S. has greatly supported Greenland’s defense against Russia and threatened that the U.S. “could remove all… soldiers out of Europe.” For more info, please go to https://globalnews.ca/news/11950870/greenland-trump-us-takeover-jeff-landry/ Subscribe to Global News Channel HERE: http://bit.ly/20fcXDc Follow Global News on X HERE: http://bit.ly/1Toz8mt Follow Global News on TikTok HERE: https://www.tiktok.com/@globalnews.ca?lang=en #GlobalNews #trump #greenland
