The GROAT...is back! After 20 NBA seasons, Kyle Lowry announced his retirement from the NBA...and he intends to do it as a Toronto Raptor. Lowry joined general manager and executive vice-president Bobby Webster Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. ET to reveal details about his plan to retire as a Raptor. What's more, the club announced their intention to retire his iconic #7 jersey at Scotiabank Arena. The 40-year-old revealed the decision Tuesday in an Instagram post highlighting the athlete’s achievements, noting “7 forever”. Lowry spent nine seasons in Toronto and helped the team reach victory in the iconic 2019 NBA championship.
