France's hard-right leader Marine Le Pen has confirmed she will run for president in 2027. Ms Le Pen was found guilty of misusing $4.6 million of funds from the European Union in fake job schemes, which disqualified her from running for public office. She recently told French TV she will run and also launch an appeal to the country's highest court against the embezzlement conviction.
