Sky News host James Morrow says Democrats are abandoning Senate candidate Graham Platner after a rape allegation surfaced. “If the Nazi tattoo and the racist Reddit post weren’t enough, the sexual assault allegation that has been against Senate candidate in Maine Graham Platner has rocked, finally, the Democrat Party,” Mr Morrow said. “Senior Democrats have called on Graham Platner to pull out of the Senate race. “It comes amid a report by the Wall Street Journal that Democratic operatives only paid $6,250 for a one-on-the-cheek background check on Platner before he launched his campaign. “Who knew that a guy with a Nazi tattoo, really abhorrent racial views, bizarre online history, a lot of sexting scandals, a lot of dodgy claims around his behaviour with women could also have been accused of rape?”
