The federal government announced more than $4 million in funding to support Canada's beef industry. Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Heath MacDonald said more than $3.7 million will help Canada Beef promote Canadian beef and veal in global markets, with a focus on the Indo-Pacific region. Up to $300,000 will also go to the Canadian Cattle Association to help expand access to key export markets.
