Sky News Defence Analyst Peter Jennings speculates on whether Trump’s reference about Iran being ‘scum’ was because he’d had some intelligence put under his nose of a threat on his life. “There’s no secret that the Iranians want to kill Trump; they’ve been chanting that in the streets of Tehran for days now,” Mr Jennings told Sky News host James Morrow. “If they had an opportunity, they would certainly do it. “I just wonder if Trump’s reference about scum was because he’d had some intelligence put under his nose which said there’s going to be a serious attempt to try and kill you.”
