Construction crews are working to stabilize a high-rise in Midtown Manhattan after a pair of support columns buckled at Pfizer's old global headquarters — which is being renovated into a 1,500-unit luxury rental complex. Nine neighbouring buildings were evacuated when the problem was discovered, but only four are now under a full evacuation order.
