Prime Minister Mark Carney is in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, marking the first time a Canadian PM has visited the nation in 26 years. He is set to take part in a signing ceremony with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the Saudi Arabia-Canada Investment Forum on Thursday. As Mackenzie Gray reports, this visit is largely to sign business deals, but also to mend relationships and strengthen trade between the two nations. The Canada-Saudi Arabia Business Council stated that there’s been a “reconciliation” between Canada and Saudi Arabia.
