I think it is now clear as daylight that the Targaryen Civil War can have no clear winner, and we have already seen the destructive nature of this war in the Battle of the Gullet. The third episode is a bit of calm before the storm, and I really liked the quiet chaos that it unleashed without doing much. It is basically the temporary illusion of victory for Rhaenyra who now sits on the Iron Throne, but she quickly realizes that ruling is not as fun and royal as it may have seemed. There are many a challenges that lie before her, and the enemy is far from vanquished as she finds out by the end of the episode. The title of the episode might be Rhaenyra Triumphant, but she is not exactly in the most victorious or joyous state of mind. The episode might have been shorter than usual and less eventful, but there is still plenty that shape up the future of the narrative. #HouseOfTheDragon #HOTD #hotdseason3
