It surely took me some time to pick up my jaw from the floor after experiencing everything that happened in the latest episode of X- men ‘97 season 2! At this point, it feels like the animated series has been outdoing itself, and setting up the bar high with every passing development. It has not just been carrying the legacy of the OG 90s series, and quite brilliantly if I may add, but also leaving its own mark by making the bold choice of deviating from famous comic storylines. I mean, nobody saw Magneto’s death coming right? The comic book arc certainly did not include Magneto going out this way, with the new risen Apocalypse blowing off his head right in front of a helpless Charles Xavier. #WeaponX #Wolverine #Logan #xmen97
